Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 11 June 2026. We are committed to making our website accessible to all users across Aotearoa.
Our Commitment
Detoxbackwrist aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA where practicable. We recognise that access to outdoor information should be available to as many people as possible, including those using assistive technologies.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML structure with headings, landmarks, and alt text on images
- Keyboard-navigable menus, forms, and interactive components
- Sufficient colour contrast using our neo-flat palette
- Responsive layout for mobile, tablet, and desktop screens
- Reduced-motion support via prefers-reduced-motion media queries
- Form labels, error messages, and focus indicators on interactive fields
Known Limitations
Embedded Google Maps may not be fully accessible to all screen reader users. PDF guide downloads, when provided, may vary in accessibility depending on formatting. We are working to offer plain-text alternatives on request.
Physical Office Access
Our Riccarton office at 129 Riccarton Road, Christchurch 8041 has step-free entry during business hours (Mon–Fri, 9 am–5 pm NZST). If you need assistance during a visit, please call ahead on +64 3 983 4500.
Feedback & Contact
If you encounter accessibility barriers on our website or need content in an alternative format, contact us at serviceteam@detoxbackwrist.world or +64 3 983 4500. We aim to respond within five business days.
Enforcement & Standards
This statement is published in line with the New Zealand Government Web Standards and the Human Rights Act 1993, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in the provision of goods and services.
